Post by: Dean Taberner on September 21, 2010, 09:03:49 pm

Does anybody know if im right in thinking that the flat rate of VAT for us is 10.5%

I know that it varies from trade to trade.

Daz,

Yeah that's what I thought,

WC,

I bet it did lol,

I was in the pond that's in between the canteen and the library, it went well, it took about 3 hrs as it was minging. There were other wc onsite, gooch's I think, but for some reason this part of the uni wasn't their problem.

Cheers mate,

I'm also under the impression that you get 1% knocked off for your first year.

knowing gooch he prob didnt wanna get his feet wet ...  ::)

i think the uni does get done a few times a year but i guess the pond bit gets missed everytime.

we were trying to clean rooms as the builders were fitting baths and showers and the proud mums were trying to make the beds for the kids on the first day ....

windows cleaning it wasnt easy either - it was orange! brick dust from about 8 months of work!
