Post by: Blue Frog Systems on September 19, 2010, 06:22:01 pm
Been playing about with the van set up.

Seats removed
Hosereel fixed down
Controller moved from left to right side
Frame up at the top to hold 3 poles and step ladders
All wiring inside trunking on the roof of the van

Next on the list is to fit some rollers on the bumper, van ports for filling up, some drawers for kit such as cloths, chemicals, squeegees

Cant believe how much space there is now the seats are out !!

Only time i get it slightly wet is when i unhook the reel wrong... its an old van that will be scrapped soon (next 18months i reckon) so not worried about the floor..

How do you get the right measurements to bolt to the floor.

I have a ford transit short wheel base.

Had mine done at a garage mate... next door to where i got the system from. Cost me £250 for the fitting.

Next time i would hapily do it myself though, position it where you want it to go and then measure at the top and measure at the bottom, get it right & drill through. I know the deisel tank had to be removed on mine.
