Hi Darren
If you use the new Superlites that Gardiners sell, the ones that have the angled bristles, you will find that this is not an issue in my experience.

just make sure you adjust the angle of the brush so the stock isnt rubbing on the sills as it can scratch them and leave marks.i use the supalites and find this doesnt happen.i clean them as best i can.

just use a sill brush all the time, does the job so much quicker and easier, people say its heavy i say it is very light, might be heavier than superlite but cleans the glass and sills twice as quick!

Darren... on a first clean i re-angle the brush to get the top sills right, but normal maintainence cleans i just wipe the brush over.

If you want to come out with me for a day your more than welcome to mate. when you going wfp or have you already ?
