Ok so i figured that there are always loads of questions on which is the best brush, i know there are many variables to consider so that is why i have said all round, every day brush.
So far i have narowed it down to three:
The Super-LiteŽ Brush Dual-Trim (gardiners)
12" Pro Window Double trim brush (cleaning spot)
New Vikan brush 11" (cleaning spot)
-
For me it is the vikan 11" mono (red) that comes out tops... Great every day brush plus brilliant for first cleans too.
-
just tried adding that to poll but can't seem to edit it
-
vikan sill brush everytime, wouldnt waste my time with any other!
-
Salmon dual-trim.
-
I have tried to buy and try a salmon dual trim and given up as i found it nigh on impossible to source one or when a salmon brush was found for sale then total confusion as to whether it was one that someone had previously thought well of.
It has taken hours and hours and hours of my time to become totally confused and i now appear to be addicted to internet forums, thinking of ditching my atheism and going to visit the pope as some of the faces of these pilgrims on the tv look happy and contented.
Hot water!,cleans better, faster. I havn`t got a hot water system so now i feel totally dis-advantaged and am obviously offering a sub-standard service!
I am thinking of ditching everything to do with wfp and targeting bungalows only traditional.

SL dual trim all the way for me. Flocked is better IMO for first cleans, mono for maintenance work
-
See i have a vikan sils brush and to be honest i was not that impressed mine must be a soft one as doing a conny and gutters the other day my super light dule trim cleaned so much better.
-
I'd be amazed if most people have used all three, so I suspect you're going to get what people own rather than what's best. If I'd voted, I'd have had to vote Gardiners, as it's the only one I've used, so it's the best I've ever experienced...

Have used all 3 - my very first brush was the vikan oval and soon brought a spare then brought an SL2 which
came with a superlite - i had an immediate 'praise da lord' moment and chucked the vikans :P
i voted for the superlight as everyday stuff for me just edges the pro window brush, BUT
Pro window outperforms superlight for 1st cleans/conny roofs and heavily cobwebed windows.
SBS - Pro window is a trading name for Salmon brushes they are very good the 12" dual trim in black is top class i also got the dual trim in white but found it did not clean or scrub nearly as well as the black bristle version.
