so what do you all think the best online shop is for general stuff like sqeeegy rubber, detergent etc..?
-
if its just for rubbers and such alike then i dont think it matters too much mate.
good quality and a fair price with free del is the best bet.
cleaningspot are good.
if its for wfp stuff then it does matter what bit of kit you are looking for eg gardiners for poles...
-
thanks wc, im just after some water proof gloves for winter some trad detergent & some squeegy rubbers!
regards g.b

i hate the fact we are already talking about winter! :-\
guess its best to be ready for it.
with the gloves might be better off with trying a cycle shop or camping shop eg go outdoors ...
-
yea good thinking wc, thanks again mate ;)
-
im sure the gloves posts will start flooding in soon with the winter around the corner
-

GB,
winter gloves is a tricky subject if you are doing some trad work. Some that get mentioned are just no good in my opinion.
I suggest a pair of those black heavy duty rubber gloves you can get in supermarkets. Fully waterproof and more trad friendly than some specialist gloves. Add a thin pair of cotton/wool gloves underneath when it`s really cold; less workable but your hands are dry and warm.
They may not suit you but at less than a fiver for both you`ve not lost much.
You could £20 plus on some gloves and not get on with them.

windowclean centre for trad gear
pure freedom/gardiners/cleantech/brodex for wfp gear

My only wish is a decent wfp shop in a main city near me, would be fantastic.
I get really cheesed off having to pay carraige costs for everything i buy.
Must be one of only a handful of "trades" where we cant simply go to a nearby store for our tools.
