Title: 2 man set up

for those that run a two man set up, what increase in work load did u get when running woth the second man,  as i remember something about 50% more

On a more serious note, you wont double your work thats for sure. Its just not possible, 50% to maybe 75% though, thats do able.

I find that most days it averages out that the extra you earn pays their wages. Sometimes you do coin it, but others it covers them.

I found that its just company for me, makes things easier and usually motivates you to carry on.

if you use them on big compact work you can make that % larger, but if you have lots of van moves it drops a lot, I pick out the work my part timer does so that increases the %

my brother on the other hand sends his full time worker out on his own and they meet up on the larger commercial work, but he has been employed by my brother for 20 years or so and is a trusted employee

i am looking at employing some one 2 days a week at first,  might more all my pain in the ares work to these two days and keep a easy day for my self,

yes thats what I do get the rubbish work out the road and leave the best for me to get round on the rest of the week, well actually thats not true its not rubbish work just hard going on my own

got two weeks before i get a other bloke on the road with me,  now i have been around 18 months seem to be picking up better jobs,  web site brings in a lot of good jobs,  seem to be gettin gmore proffessional rather than pocket money

i have a bloke in mind, but he is just starting out on his own and is a bit unsure about working for some one when he could be out knocking, but needs the cash
