Title: Cheap van
Post by: Dean Taberner on September 14, 2010, 11:24:19 am
Hi guys,

I know this is in the wrong section but do any of you know anyone or anywhere where I can get a cheap van from,

Our 2nd vehicle has failed its MOT miserably and a replacement is needed asap,

I say cheap not just because I am tight but also as earlier this year, myself and my main driver had an unfortunate run of smashes which had to be claimed for. My insurance has gone through the roof so im going have to insure any van that I get 3rd party fire and theft. Ive had one quote which is nearly £3k for an average sized van fully comp. Even 3rd party F+F im looking at around £1k insurance.

Also what types of vans would you recommend and which vans would you say to avoid?

I need to buy one ideally today/tomorrow or I could wait until the weekend at a push :o :o :o

Many thanks in advance,

Dean.

It was 1300 not 1200.

Yes insurance is shocking but its by far the cheapest quote I could get. I've been shopping around all day.

We nearly wrote the van off then did write it off within a month between us and there was a 3rd party involved who also but a claim in.
