I just put waterproof black trousers on, and stick my hi-fis waterproof jacket on.
but generally when i have to do that i normally clean 2more... and go home, as the rain would be too heavy, ....
rest of time just swap a couple of fleeces if its not too bad.

gazza i find working in the rain a lot easier with wfp! ;)im also on a big estate of very compact work so i just cracked on with it!it did ease off a bit this afternoon but it still rained pretty heavy for around 2 hours and i didnt even stop for dinner!! ;D ;D.i dont want to get behind as im used to being straight up !again because of wfp.

you are joking I was in the army and not even the army actually wear the poncho's they are for making make shift tents, they only work when held taught and will leak if you wear it touching you.
A decent set of gortex would be much better

Why waste money when you can DIY.
Just get some Cling Film from the Supermarket, a pounds worth will keep you dry all day. Just wrap around your body and away you go.
We can have a competition to find who sells the cheapest Cling Film, we just need someone to spend the next 4 days walking around the Supermarkets to find the best deals.

Is it tiled or thatched :D
-
Tiled ;D It's raining hard now and I'm as dry as a bone!

Definately Goretex. It is expensive but is worth it. Got a lightweight jacket with a detatchable fleece inside. In the warm(ish) weather now you wont need it but the depths of winter the fleece inside is very warm!
This website has got discounts. Havent got the time to look through if they actually have Goretex but they do Helly Hansons version.

Craghoppers jacket and some expensive golf strides.
I was caught out without my cheap nylon legs, so I put in at the local golf course, I thought it may be a bit pricy so I had some cash. When the bloke told me how much they were, I couldnt help laughin. I stared in blank disbelief as he told me they were well down to £85. "bloody hell says I, their a bit pricey for me I have only got £30", I must have put on a good floor show cause I got them for £30.
:D

You don't need a jacket when you've got one of these :P
