If, and when you use a squeegee, use Unger ergotech, can't beat em.
I remember the freezing early mornings I used to do supermarket windows 5am in Jan/feb using a brass handle, nearly stuck to my skin, the pain from cold went past my elbows.

Just thought I'd share that with you. It's been 15degrees here today with a NE windchill dropping it to about 10!!!
Thanks Dave

Good tip Hey !

I've heard about them, but never ever seen a squeegie with a brass handle!
I've not seen a 'rats-tail mop' either (is that the correct term).
Or seen anyone using wooden ladders.
I can feel some new kit comming on though. Wor Lass and I both dislike our Unger belt as it 'folds up' into a bunch and hurts our sensitive waists. I hear Unger have a new range of belt kit out including a padded belt which stops the chaffing.

Hi,
Used to swear by Unger ergotech squeegee, but have now moved on to the ettore progrip squeegee, swear by that now!
