Title: Brodex guarantee
Post by: adixon on September 10, 2010, 12:25:56 am
does anyone know what this covers on the poles as the top clamp on my hydra wont tighten anymore and is spinning obviously its just wear does the guarantee just cover snapping of a section
I fitted a bike quick release seat post lever and that clamps it so tight when closed i struggle to make the section spin and think i will do this with all the clamps but i was just curious without phoning brodex how any of you guys have got on with said problem ( told to go away or did they replace clamps)

thanks

andy

if it is a fibre glass pole mate this will happen and its wear and tear on all fibre glass poles either replace clamps or if the pole section is that worn replace section or pole best to phone brodex

I had hydra 18, clamp and end fitting probs (thread stripped)
Rang brodex, they then sent me a full new pole and didn,t even take the old one back, result, new pole and spares.
Its a 3 year guarantee, just insist that it,s not doing the job it was intended to do. Go for it1
