has anyone used roundbuilders?they are based in Suffolk im thinking of using them they sound good i have been in contact with them has anyone got any comments or advice?
i know some of you may say i should go out my self to canvas , but they claim they can get good work so i dont mind paying , they also seem the most expensive.

I have never used a canvasing company personaly although have been tempted,
I think you have opened a can of worms on here just by mentioning the words ha ha

Been using them for years now, never had any problems at all. They do domestic for me now and again, but i have 6 hours a week of telephone canvassing from them as well.
I know they are very busy, so you may have a bit of a wait if your looking for domestic canvassing, they normally have a waiting list.
But i would recommend them.

i have met and used a few but have not used roundbuilders before they are a all girl door knocking company.
Before in my experience, some of the work i have got from canvassers has been bad but alot has been good, overall hmm ... its fair to say its been a success taking away the decent percentage that backed out after the 1st clean.
i have got some nice houses from them £45s £50 £20s , all in to 4-6 cleans so im in profit, but it hasnt been easy ive had to explain how i work over and over again..
" oh they dont need doing" = thats because i keep them clean you will never have them the way you did before i come every 8 weeks etc etc..
im actually quite good at canvassing i can normally pick up £60.00 an hour and about 90% is confirmed, the other day i went out for 3 hours and picked up 170, 150 cleaned and the best part was i met all the people and explained how i work my round so there is no confusion i also made it clear (NO one off cleans)
But thing is i am getting little bit more busyer and and i do need more work , but if i go out knocking ill never have any free time be shattered etc ,
basically i am willing to pay good money for good customers if it means i can live a normal life!

In the years i have used them, to be honest, maybe 2 or 3 after a first clean.All customers are confirmed, they sign a duplicate sheet to say what they have agreed to, so never any confusion or fake customers. I normally go for high end customers, big, individual houses.
Your canvassing percentages are very good, what area are you in?

No but i dont want to live like some nutcase working full days then door knocking ill end up splitting up from my girl friend! ill have no life!
So thats nice mate, may i ask you where you are? and typically if you were after say £250 would they get this in a day? is the hourly rate good Eg: £30 per hourish?

Im in Cambridge and since last year Berkshire and surrounding areas, so not far from you.
I have had more than £250 per night, its very rare they will not get you anything. But its all down to a lot of things, areas, pricing, people in, people in a good mood ect ect, but you will already know this as you have canvassed yourself.

I don't think you can beat building your own round though... It's so much better meeting the potential customers from the outset and selling yourself to them, not just the service!

I just finished cleaning a house, which was a first clean. ( I got this one through a canvasser). Anyway I went to the front door, the bloke said"what about the conservatory roof?" I said, what about it? Oh, the canvasser told us it was in with the price.
Now, all I have to do is shot the canvasser.

yeah jus get a fella who is used to knocking yeah
ie gas , electric salesman tell him yr price ie lets say a £10

This one was through door knockers. But I think with all canvassing companies, if they are hit a bad area. The sort of area with a window cleaner in every street, which is getting more and more common.
They going to be a little pushy at the door, maybe cut the price a little to get the job. Anyone tells me different, is talking out of there ****

i would have liked to use roundbuilders ,and they are local to me .but after leaving several messages and a couple of emails i gave up with them.
a reply or an answer would have been nice.
not very profesional.

well i been talking to them for about 3 months once i waited 1 month for a reply , i think they are just too busy and have not got alot of office time.
we are now at the stage where they will answer the phone or call me i hope.
i think they should be a better faster with mails but then again if they are that busy i guess they are good?

Well i got work in Surrey Middlesex but ill consider anywhere why mate?
