Hi had a few rounds a couple of years now and get on well with customer have 1or2 that hard work but dont we all at moment do them trad but thinking of doing them w f p . How easy or hard have you lads that have done this found it also did you lose any customer or have them kicking off cheers Laurie

When I changed mine over, they got no letter I just changed it, I lost a few customers (mud getting wet, getting water on the wall type comments) anyone asked I explained, if you are thinking of changing just speak with people as you go around your round, I did not give a letter puerly because I did not want them scrutanising what was going to be new to me and a massive learning curve. I am glad I did it the way I did. most people will not care, if your under priced you can raise them as frames ect will all get washed so a selling point there.

Cheers I no worries about wfp side as half my work is supermarket etc so had wfp for few years now just wondering more how hard easy found it to change from trad to wfp also on lots of my work now i can fill up on site so only have 350 litre tank but can't do that houses. how much water a day do you lad use with wfp houses cheers laurie

never less than 400ltrs, usually +500ltrs. but i dont worry about splashing it about with a 650 tank.
i changed over overnight, lost half a dozen or so. kind of knew who they were gonna be.
more and more customers are seeing wfp as they go around so its not alien anymore.

i just changed lost 1 becasue of wfp as left windows wet she was a pain, but pick up more and better jobs since

depending on what van you have, I would just add some 25l barrels incsae you run out of water , 350 I would say is min you need and that pushing it at the start, it really does depends on what you do a day as we are all different, we all rinse different ect. I knwo I get slack for saying your welcome to call me and speak to me about it, but I dont care, I will help you if I can

I did send a letter and changed over a year.
All commercial - immediate in April 2005
50% of my domestic - June 2005
25% of my domestic - October 2005
Last estate of terraced houses - May 2006.
Lost two PITA custies and two "leaky georgian" frames custies.

i havent lost a single house and im on my second and 3rd cleans now, im picking up a lot of work at the moment and a lot of my regulars are asking about conny roofs. As some one else said more and more custys are seeing wfp being used around these days.

3rd and 4th cleans for me!ive lost a couple.made a mess of a few in the first month and im still getting the odd run and spot here and there.
im getting round on time and not getting behind with work.in fact im completing a weeks work in 3 and half days using wfp compared to ladders.
its just great and im loving it most of the time!ive also picked up a few bigger jobs lately and im going to price a church up tommorrow! ;) ;D ;D
onward and upward for me!
im building a more profitable business but im just at the start!with wfp anythings possible!!
i dont use anymore than 300L EVEN ON A FULL DAY!i do still trad the odd downstairs window and use a pole tap/5mm hose/varistream.
from my experience a lot of custies dont like doors being left wet so i just run a cloth round em if their not too dirty.this saves a lot of water during the day.
