Top piece of kit mate! You'll wonder how you ever managed without it this time next week! I'm still using my original MKI slx 25 daily! ;)

Top pole use mine at least twice for awkward stuff, very light

Got mine last week too. Very happy though they did skimp with the pole hose. Mine is 30ft but when extended to the max the hose isn't long enough. I prefer to have at least 3 metres spare.

I have an original and a year old slx and although they are different weaves I would say they are wearing at the same rate. The year old one is ribbed where as the original is smooth. Best built and best user friendly pole I've ever had. Plus most value for money.
Simon.

Ewan... No he doesn't work for them... I know this for certain ! He's had his pole a long time now and is still very happy with it... I'd be telling everyone too if I had one.

Isn’t the original SLX is made with a more expensive carbon fibre weave finish? That’s why your MK1 has lasted so long, its miss leading to compare any of the subsequent SLX’s to the MK1 SLX, there nowhere near as expensive to produce as the MK1 SLX
You always jump in WinproClean on post mentioning the Gardiner’s pole; do work for them or just get paid in some form by Gardiner’s?
No mate but unlike you I know what good poles are & I use them everyday! ;)
Weaves in carbon arn't more expensive you muppet! a weave is fibre pattern! ::) Different weave structures give different characteristics to the overall product. What a numpty. ;D

Top pole, I've had all the versions except the very latest. I don't own an slx any more - that's because I've got the Smax ;)
They all wear the same in my opinion, all my poles I sell on after a year and they are still going strong.

Nothing this week ;D
I'll probably just replace sections in the future provided Gardiners don't charge silly money for spares.
