I have an Agent who is looking to claim off my insurance for stains that have been made on a stainless steel sink and cooker we cleaned for them. Is there anything that refresh stainless steel and bring it back to normal? your suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi
Bar keepers friend £3-4 from your local hardware store
sprinkle on, work in with a scourer and leave for a min, wash off. Repeat if necessary.
what did you use on it?
I have used the above on an entire sink that was tarnished (brown) from acid.

Hi
You said you cleaned it but are not sure what was used? A little confused here?
The sink looks like it has come from the tap?
I would still use the Bar keepers friend i have seen worse than that. When I get my PC back later (it crashed) I will see if I can put up one we did, we used Harpic in that instance.

On the cooker that looks like you have used a de-scaler on the taps and left it on too long and burned the sink ( that's what we call it) I think it has had it.
On the cooker it looks like you have used a de-greaser and not washed off, try a acid/water mix and clean it again.
