Title: Anyone use Multisolv?
Post by: Dave Roberts on September 01, 2010, 10:02:58 pm
Does anyone use Multisolv from Craftex? (pre-spray, spotter, general solvent)  ...... I read some good reviews of it used as a pre-spray and it seems very low cost.   I remember John Kelly saying that a few Dry Compound operators are using it as a prespray, but I was surprised to see that it has a pH of 12.75 !  ...... seems a bit high to use without an acid rinse.

It's not bad I think Ultrapak is better, try Champion from Craftex that'll make your hair curl.

Yes I was looking at Champion as well, pH is off the scale!

The Multisolv arrived today, so I tried some as a pre-spray on a Guest house Job (bad traffic lanes in the rooms).  It did a great job at removing the traffic lanes, but I'm not convinced M-Power couldn't have got a similar result, with no solvent and pH neutral.

I tried it but didn't think it was as good as Ultrapac Renovate.

Simon

Only use it for draft marks as a last resort with an acid rinse
