My work colleague (who shall remain nameless) has had a stonking week!
Although a reluctant wfp convert he was using a ladder last week when it slipped out from under him (using a Rojak Stopper would impact on his position of King Of Ladders, even though I do nag him to use it!). A few bumps and scrapes resulted from that. Then using a ladder to climb over a bolted and padlocked gate on Monday, the gate sprung open, sending him flying, but not before he had opportunity to grab the barb wire that runs along the top of the fence. Result: deep gouge to ball of thumb and assorted other bruises and scrapes. Also embarrassing as right by traffic lights on main road. I would have taken the rest of the week off after that but he was out with me yesterday doing an old peoples home (quite depressing as they are all going slightly senile - thanks for passing that one to me Roy!) when he got stung by a wasp that was building a nest. In the process he slid down about 7 rungs of the ladder, jarring his previously uninjured knee! I worked on my own today...

Hi Ken
The man obviously has a touch of real class about him.
Only us other nobody's get a simple knock but Alf - pure quality.
Hi Shawn
I've tried that. Get a bit of a cold and pretend it's life threatening except with my missus, she sees it as a chance to talk non stop and go with her shopping as 'we've some time together for a change'. :-[

Roy - the joy of a leaky tank! When it was being welded up last MoT the garage said they could hear water hissing in the sills! Going to build up a trailer system for pulling with the Landy. Hopefully a bit more flexible, wfp when we need it, and not when we don't if that makes sense! I'll text you my new email tomorrow as we've just switched to broadband.
