Been out to do a small commercial today.
Got there and the ump seemed to be pumping slowly. Anyway then it all packed in.
Got home have taken a look at it. There is an electrical supply, the battery is okay I think, lights on controller are on, and charged. Nothing, nought from the pump, no movement at all.
Water tap from tank is on, it worked initially then nothing.
Its a shurflo 100psi.
Any ideas?

i had this prob try charging the battery fully, i had this problem months ago went out and bought a new pump worked for day then done say charged battery and both pumped worked perfect

Hi
Have you tried disconnecting the outlet side of the pump, if there is any blockage or prob with hose or connectors the flow switch kills the pump.
I had this spent ages checking voltages and switches turned out the hose was twisted in the reel.
cheers

Its the pressure switch.
Isolated it and joined the two wired connectors together, runs fine now, just mustn't turn off water flow at pole.
New pressure switch ordered 20 odd quid.

Maplin have an equivalent mirco switch that will work for a couple of pounds. I bought one about 4 years ago before I invested in a Varistream and it cost £1.24.
There was a tip on Peter Fogwills site a few months back to wire the pump's on and off switch through a heavy duty relay which sounded a brilliant idea. It takes the strain out of the shurflo switch and the relay is cheaper to replace if it does burn out.

Its the N00AW 30amp 12Vdc that you need.

Did he say the lights on the controller were on? If he has a controller such as the varistream then he must disconnect the pressure switch altogether.

Ive got the flowmaster Dave.
If you override the pressure switch it still works, with the facility to control the pump speed just there is no 'on and off' facility.

Oh right.
