Title: free cards vista print
Post by: Mike Halliday on August 29, 2010, 07:01:52 am
saw the advert below.....  250 free biz cards (probably have to pay for delivery on check out) they have a template for carpet cleaners with a wand going across a dirty carpet.

although they say business cards you can put any text on them, I am doing some at the moment... but making them  recommendation cards to give to customers when I've finished cleaning.

Careful Mike they don't sign you up to their pre club which is in the small print charge £9.50 a month

Mike

Just what I was going to mention.

I've used them in the past for our bike hire and holiday cottage business, if I remember right they cost me about £7.99 for P&P

Good idea with the recommendation cards, what are you putting on them?

If you can, can you scan one and send it to me for ideas

I have been using Vistaprint for 3 years & have never had any problems with any sign ups. Just ordered 1500 cards with a Free post it note pad for £20 incl delivery.
Their postcards are great very bright glossy & very professional looking & they are free most of the time with around £3/4 postage.

I've used them for last 30 months and never had a sign up.
I use their glossy postcards rather than flyers which are
excellent quality and tend not to get thrown away. I've had people
ringing 8 months after I've posted.
They are dearer than flyers so I deliver them myself to selected
areas.
Their websites are pretty good too.

The free onces are very bad quality in my opion. I ordered 250 about 3 years ago, the postage was £8 like Ian said. But the cards are utter rubbish! Firstly, they are tiny (smaller than a average business card) the quailty of the ink is poor, actualy makes it look like cheap paper and lastly they brand the back of the cards with "get 250 FREE business cards at vistaprint etc etc"

The normal cards you get from vista print are good quailty, probably the best you can get infact but there are cheaper option out there.

The recommendtion idea is good. Maybe that idea wont need a good card

Tony got to agree with you a bit, I had some a while ago and they were as you said, but i thought if they were free they might be worth looking into.

also saw these on thier site..

ive had on trouble.
and although not that nice i use them for people who walk past the van and ask for a card.
not sure if there just been nosey  but for just under a fiver for 250  they might turn into cuzzys and if they dont then you haven't waisted your best cards.

never ever had a problem with vista in years, ive had cards, glossy folded leaflets, stickers for placing on custys vacuums etc , never had to sign up to any thing and often take up their free offers.

payment for delivery is always for the normal shipment time {lowest} but usualy arrives within a few days any way.

I ordered them for the kids at christmas , wrote daft stuff on them. Would not use them seriously for business because I think the Vista endorsement makes people look like a tightwad . I do not take people seriously when they give me a card I know they got free, cheapskates.
