Title: shine to domestic carpets

hello all,

I have been doing some end of tennacy cleans and the owner of the company keeps saying that her last carpet cleaners left a shine on the carpet !!!

Anyone know what they could have used ? As i have never heard of this before.

They simply brushed WITH the pile rather than AGAINST.

is that really all it is.....??? would a stain repellant make it also look a little shiny ????

Some chemicals have optical brighteners in, probably that.
