Hello to all WFP users, esp. the veterans!
I'm going to be buying a flocked bristle brush, and like the look of the Gardiners' flocked, but they seem to only do a dual trim flocked.. :-/
I would love to hear feedback about their brushes generally, esp. how long do they last etc. and is it worth getting the DT flocked?

weve just changed all our brushes to vikan sills brushes, yes they are heavier than most but what a brush! great results and good for frames and of course the sills, nice to not have to worry about scratching the sills.
alot will say this brush is too heavy but you will prob find more will say its a good brush head.
have a look on john hewitts site mate, hes got some good prices!

the gardiners supalite dt flocked is my brush of choice
dont have any trouble with marking the sills , its excellent
all my mates in this area use them as well
and its lasting well 8)

I would have said the duel trim flocked is a great brush, but they have been changed and seem way to soft and splay loads the second type was fantastic and I use it daily, the vikan sill brush are great and also weight about the same as a brick though I may change back to these as starting get a couple of complains from new brushes:-X

Superlite DT mono. Love it, light and great for maintenance cleans.

Same thoughts as 'window washers' the new edition doesnt work as well...will be looking else where unless the bristles are changed back

I've been using the supalight flocked dt for over a year it's my favourite brush also use the Mono DT. But just bought another of the flocked last week & oh no whats happened they've changed it and absolutely ruined it.
The new one splays too much is too soft and impossible to use accurately. In my opinion it's useless for domestic windows and i'll only use it for cladding.
If can can get hold of an old one do so.

Been WFP for more than a couple of years, but only used the Cleaning Spot DT mono, which I think has let the side down a bit..

Always loved Vikans, but this one is very soft. Fine for maintenance cleans but useless when scrubbing is required. I find that the only time I use it now is on a couple of bungalows with lead windows. Its too heavy at height IMO.
We have got both the latest Gardiners dual trim mono and flocked brushes as well as the previous models. I prefer the latest more splayed bristle brushes and use both the mono and flocked. The flocked is my preference.
My son has the older model Gardiner brushes and prefers them to the newer ones which are softer than their predecessors.
For us the Gardiner brush is the lightest and the best. They aren't that expensive, why not order 1 of each and try them.
