Title: "rainbow balls"
Post by: prestige cleaners on August 25, 2010, 12:34:26 am
anyone use those new fangled balls i think ezsnap make? they look like dog balls?
theyre supposed to protect your taps and couplins. being a skinflint i thought i would use tennis balls, been ok so far, they do soak up the water though, but if they give me a few more months of life out of my tap then it will be worth it.

I use them and they do work well. They are really good as dragging them along the floor doesn't wear them out

Had a kid tell me the other day that they have them at his school that they use in PE

mate i got mine from gardiners - dont think they are new tho ...

they look ok but when you get them in the post you will be shocked to see that they are just foam toy cat balls!!

my cat loves them! waste of money to be honest - be cheaper to buy some cat balls from pet shop or even better use a golf ball ...

I stole a couple from a toy gun my grandson keeps shooting me with, and have the gardiners ones as well and there is no difference, they do protect well but they also catch on everything

I have used them , and they are a pain in the ass,  ;)

the speed in which you disconnected from your pole is impaired... it gets in the way.

mine went in the bin as it was constantly in my way when i disconnected the pole hose from the reel hose,

thats not to say it does not protect the fittings... it does... but i can work without it quite easily.

in fact i dont need it , no... i dont see the benefits as i dont rag my gear around  ;)
