Title: dilution rate Fusion 8
Post by: md_cleaning on August 22, 2010, 04:38:48 pm
Have had good results with fusion 8, but not as good as people are saying, what dilution rate would you use for 3 litres? 20ml seems so little to me.

Dave personally i have not used it but the information given is 1:140 to 1:160 if i was using it and needed more advice i would call nick and ask the question mate.

1:160 is correct for general cleans but depending on what was being done some have gone to 1:80 and 1:40 as a spotter.

like Steve says - ring Nick tomorrow

If you aren't getting the desired result, Solu-Boost gives it more "Humph!"

I mix 60ml with 20 Litres in the Solution tank and spray via a Stinger... In 6 weeks I have added Solu-boost twice...

How many carpets have you actually cleaned since using it?

I find I revert back to UPR on carpets that are affected by wood burning stoves, coal fires and soot, but have had resounding success otherwise, using Fushion8....

I too have had some good results, surprisingly on some nasty poly-prop at 10ml per litre following advice from solutions. I've always struggled with Nemisis or M-Power but F8 is good. Try allowing a good dwell time and I find agitation by either a rake or Gen4 helps, it does not need to be aggressive.

Where are you using it?
