Post by: barry mallett on August 21, 2010, 11:27:37 am
tradders are you dying to get your hands on a brand new wtp system , but cant seem to save the money. simple , instead of knocking off at at dinnertime and spending all your cash in the bookies and the pub try working all day and then going home . before you know it youll have enough cash to become a proper window cleaner ;)

You got a proper window cleaning website Barry? What's the address? Also, any pics of your van and setup. I am in awe of such a professional!

dont need a website or a sign written van dont door knock or leaflet or advertise why waste money on any of them when i have plenty of work . but may think about a website for custys to make online payments.that is one of the good tips i have picked up from this forum, and i only try to repay with my own tips  ;)

I'd like to see some pics of your van and setup though, obviously with you being so against trad, you will have a nice WFP system with all your work!!

Learn the trade as they say, i'm sure we'd all kill for a Timmy Barry Mallet setup and customer base, but we all have to start somewhere, so trad it is for now!

Barry is a "forum character" and he posts humorous things. Don't take it seriously.

There has been a few replys saying Barry Mallett has a round to die for and perfect setup has anybody seen his van system or know what his round consists of i.e. large domestics or mainly commercial,

I use both methods, but I do find that the pole polishers do like to over egg things slightly, so sorry Barry this perfect world you live might just be in your mind my friend.

When you used to do the deejaying i hear that chris evans was your tea boy.Things a bit different now eh, i do love seeing that huge mallett on the top of your van and i smile everytime i see it, and it probably explains why you have so much work without going out of your way to advertise etc.I expect some of your custies knew you when you. were at the top of your game and a household name.

Do you still wear those huge glasses?
