Title: knocked waste bucket over today
Post by: gr cleaning solutions on August 20, 2010, 08:23:31 pm
I was doing my second job off the day my machine was in the passage way as it was heavy rain outside on and off. I emptied my waste tank into a bucket so i could take the machine out side so i could clean the passage way as it stopped raining and the sun came out.
But i forgot to move the bucket from the front off the machine and you guessed it i pull the machine and it pulled the bucket over luckily the machine was on a plastic sheet with pop up side so that caught most off the dirty water but some off it went on to the passage carpet.
It was a good job the customer had gone out a left me to i felt a right plonker :-[

These things happen mate and although their bleedin annoying at the time, they make you a better CC.

(Because you learn from every cock up; you'll never be careless with that waste bucket again!).

I can beat that ;D
Whilst carrying a full waste bucket I tripped on my lead at the top of the stairs and yes, dropped the bucket which sprayed filthy water all down the stairs and all over the walls.
A one bedroom job turned into one bedroom, stairs and all of the hall.
Funny thing was the customer did not realise what had happened and never said a word when she got double the job for the same money.

Well, the bl00dy handle fell off my waste bucket today!

Just been to B&Q to buy a few more!

(Buy the orange B&Q buckets and they are easier to see, meaning you don't trip over 'em)

What do you use for your rotary solutions Jason?

I use a Kentucky Wringer type thingy ........... cheap and effective from eBay.
