NO NO NO NO NO!!! I dont work in heavy rain/snow/below freezing temps or thunder. anything else im good to go including light to medium snow/rain.

Just wrap some copper cable around your leg and then put the other end round a spike in the ground soft lad!! or stay at home till it stops around here thunder and lightning dont last long  ;D

Or just use ur f/glass pole instead of ur carbon hybrid.

im no expert but i would think the last thing you want to do in thunder and lightning is hold a pole in the air. i remember from school science lessons that anything can be conductive to electricity! some materials more than others thats all.

i tried cleaning in torrential rain what a bloody misery >:(

then the old thunder and lightening started right above
me the old alu pole went sailing towards the nearest hedge

i nearly bloody wet myself :(

had 2 big gutter cleanes today, worked right through the thunder and lightening and i got wet, not just any old wet, i mean so wet when i finished i had 2 inch of water on the van floor in the foot wel all done by 3, i was in the sauna by 4, rocking, its a hard life.
 Was nice watching it though, its by far not the first time iv been caught in them.
