Firstly you must find out if it is laminated..if it is then it shouldnt need polishing..

It is laminate floor but it doesnt have any shine or polished look to it.
Can I put a polish on this type of flooring.
Thanks

Hi Fred,
Most manufacturers would advise against putting polish on true laminate flooring.
You mention that this is an insurance job, can you perhaps give us an idea, has the area been flooded etc.
If the laminate is dull, it has obviously not been cleaned correctly so replacement or an ability to live with it is probably the only thing to be done.
Laminates, should be swept, and damp mopped, (microfibre best here) on a regular basis, spills taken care of right away.

Rob

hi there
if it is an insurance job, and its laminate, most damage is replace with new not repair, esp if its had any quantity of fluid on it, or under it.
