Title: Unbelievable kids! Supalite
Post by: LWC on August 16, 2010, 06:59:18 pm
My dads just got in, used my supalite today, on a council ish sort of road with flats, had my supalite laid out on the grass away from the big wide path...2 kids, veered off the path on their push bikes on purpose and ran over my section 6 and snapped it clean in half...i was fuming when he told me, and its not one of them sections you can really fix by putting the one end back up other...anyway sleeved it and taped for now but aint gonna hold forever  :(

It probably will. I've got sections I snapped and sleeved years ago that still haven't broken again.

Fishing tackle shops are often agents for repairers.  I got a section repaired a while ago for £30 and it feels stronger than before (I trod on it).  You can just leave the section at the shop and the repairer collects it, repairs it, then delivers it back to the shop.  It might take a week or so depending when the repairer is next due in the area.
