i want to put a connection at the top end of my pole hose eg ez snap, so i can change the brush head with ease for different jobs ....
i cant see it being a problem myself but prob best i check first
-
brush head should just twist off a neck and pull off at hose, pretty easy already
-
yeah but alot of the times the brush head plastic y piece is a pain to push onto the pole hose...
-
try one of these then
http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Flow_Control_Valves.html
-
the top one
-
thats far too big to put at the top of pole hose! ez snap is alot smaller...
-
i have the 31 hyrad alloy pole from brodex with vikan sills brush so the whole weight thing isnt a problem really ....
-
would this work: brodex site - easy clip head release £8.00 odd
-
put up a link

This is the pushfit connector I use:

yeah seen them ajm, so you can just pull the hose out of it easy and put other hose back in...
-
yes very easy to use
-
so i take it that replaces the plastic y piece then mate?
ever get any probs with the connection coming loose?
-
Yes it is used instead of the traditional Y piece but does exactly the same job. It is small and lightweight and i've never had a problem with leaks etc.
If you want to change the brush you just push the ring in (on the single inlet section at the bottom of the Y) and pull hose out.

yes all my brushes are set up with a push fit connector for this reason, although your original idea of the ez snap connector would work just the same
