a mate of mine is trying to sign me up as a distributer for this company as being a window cleaner provides a good network of people to sell utilities. Has any1 tried this and found it a scam. My mate has paid a registration fee and feel that he might not make as much money as he`d like to.
i would like to hear of any of your experiences with this company

My wife is a distributor and does well out of it. The savings can be great. We saved our neighbour over £800 a year. She has ordered the free mini from the company and will be getting it in september.
In the past week, the share price has gone up around 40p which tells you something about the company. Last year they moved from the FTSE 400 to the 250.
Which? Magazine has rated them best supplier 3 years in a row.
5% off shopping and fuel at sainsburys... The list is enormous and have just added M&S to the list where you get cash back. So far this year we have had around £300 cashback off our bills. This month my gas, electric, home phone, internet & internet phone came to £100.
I also applyed it to my window cleaning round before I sold up and my wife got a lot of customers from it.
You sign them up and get paid EVERY month... You don't have to do anything more than once.

It's not a scam, and there are people making a lot of money from it. I get my home services from them and I can't fault them for service or price
But you do need to be in contact with a steady flow of people.

And if you do a diagram of how that works it looks like a pyramid(albeit upside down).
Whilst i'm on a do a scheme wherby if you invest £1000 with me, and you can find five other like minded friends i can double your investment. If they go on and do the same as you i can guarantee you an income from doing nothing at all. I call it the smart investors gold club. Yep, you really can make money by doing nothing. Think of it like cleaning frosted bathroom windows !!! ;D

utilities warehouse is not a scam. However it also isnt easy. You must be a good networker and sales person. I have been offered many times the opportunity to join which i have considered carefully however i always reason that to make a good living out of it would like anything take many years of hard work and canvassing which if i applied to window cleaning would make of much more so to date i have not bothered and dont think i will. Also they only guarantee to be cheaper than british gas on gas and your local led for electric so there are better deals out there and once your customers work that out your residual income will go down the toilet however i dont doubt that for the right person who puts the time and effort in over a sustained period of time they will make money.

I agree and i certainley wouldn't suggest it was. I think its a brilliant marketing tool. Do you see any longevity in it though for people who take it on as a means to earn?

Just signed up for gas and electric from them in our new unit, the savings they are looking at are pretty big compared to British Gas and other suppliers
-
business units are something entirely different
but you will always find someone cheaper then bgas but look at all companies....
