I think trigger valve great bit of kit under £42 and more easy to control, never used aqua dapter but seems more clumsy when working at height, i may be wrong.
-
its realy good wayne, better than any trigger, big plus is no loop of hose to content with,

I honestly believe hand on heart that in 5 years time every single wfp operator will have an Aqua-dapter fitted to their poles, it really is the easiest, quickest and most hastle free way to turn your flow on and off. No mad loop of hose, it's light, easy to fit and works a treat. Had mine for two weeks now and really enjoy using the thing. The hose is easily tugged at waist height when the pole is extended and the trigger is easily pulled on or off by your index finger at ground level. For me it's the missing link that has always been the thorn in the side of the wfp set up. The Autobrush is good but this device I must admit is better. To me, triggers and taps now seem very yesterday and old fashioned, they had their time but things have evolved for the better with this tool.

what pole you got it on Ronnie? anyway if you say it works that's good enough for me, and jouk as well
ps is petes forum down
-
Seems to be down just now. It's on my Harris Stu, slightly too small but you just prise open the slit a few millimetres with a screwdriver, slip it on then tighten it up.

im sick to death of the loop on my pole hose as ive a pole tap at present!catching on things and twisting and kinking!! >:( >:( >:(
the aqua adaptor sounds great but im getting a new pole soon(clx)and dont like the thought of sawing the pole in half!! ::) ::)
-
Keep the pole as it is and just fit the Aqua dapter to the end, If you have a small van then you may need to cut the pole by six inches in order for it to fit inside. If you can use a hacksaw and have the gift of vision....nothing is simpler.
-
I think jouk came up with a way just to add it to any pole and it doesn't sound to hard to me

go here, http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/unger-xtel-spares/pole-extenders.html buy the pole extender, cut this down instead of your pole, once the aqua-dapter is fitted to the extender, it just screws to your pole as usual, now buy a straight push fit connector, this will be use to connect the tubing in your pole to one end and the other to the piece of tubing from the aqua daptor, always use the same tubing supplied by them, but do remember for this idea to work changing over to other poles, you need to buy more straight connectors, so that your other poles are set up ready for the quick change over, and most important, make sure the tapered screw on your pole is hollow

Hi guys,
We've been listening to a lot of feedback we've had from both in the UK and now USA, and the biggest concern initially is having to saw your pole.
As Aqua-dapter is intended as an upgrade for your pole, once you've used it you will understand why people aren't so concerned about loosing the old end screw; hopefully, if our product is as useful to others as we, and our current customers find it, it won't be coming back off once fitted.
However, we'd like to completely remove this reservation that potential customers have, and over the last month or so we have been developing a new aluminium body for the Aqua-dapter that will allow us to attach a female thread and eliminate sawing your poles altogether. The main trouble we had was getting our strong push fitting to work through the small gap in most end screws, but we have mananged to overcome this now.
We're still finalising development and quality testing of this new version, but expect to put it into production within the next 2 months. We will be running sales of both types alongside each other. We'll keep you updated with a release date.
We've currently got 20% off all Aqua-dapters and spare hose as a promotion for our new website (until Sept. 15th), plus returning customers will get a further 15% off any future purchase.
Kind regards,
Duncan, Aqua-dapter Limited

duncan, have you thought about how to change over to other poles

Not at all Joe, the new version will offer a perfect solution for people who don't want to do anything but screw a new tool onto their pole.
Your method offers a stop-gap, and as we will still be running the original version, maybe as an entry level for people who don't mind either sawing or a bit of easy DIY, it's still a very useful and valuable contribution :)

The screw thread would make it easily interchangeable between poles, but we're finding that the majority of users so far prefer to keep them attached and add another to their next most used pole.

am scottish and tight ;D so will make mine transferable lol thanks duncan, great product by the way
-
Hi Duncan, where do i go to buy one with your 20%off then? please give me the link.
-
You can buy directly from our website, http://www.aqua-dapter.co.uk/aqua-dapter.html .
You will see the full price on the page, but the 20% discount is added when you add something to your cart, as it is store-wide and extends across both the Aqua-dapter and our hoses.
Kind regards,
Duncan

Ordered! cant wait to see the difference this makes, we have a few vans, but the one i use has a 650l tank which never lasts a full day, about 6 hours, so if I can do just 1 more house per day it will pay for itself after 4 days!
-
Thank you for your order Lee. We'd be interested to hear how you get on in that situation, so please let us know if you manage to get that extra house per day in.
You should have it to try by Tuesday.
Many thanks,
Duncan

FAO aqua dapter - will you be selling a complete pole with the aqua dapter already fitted in the future??
-
Hi Martin,
Short answer, yes, we plan to.
We are developing a built in solution with a complete pole package but currently I cannot give any expected release date.
Regards,
Duncan
