Title: leaflets do work

been out leafleting fri and sat for the first time done about 1250 leaflets and had four calls so far, 2 a day as i was delivering went round to view and price all jobs in person same evening and got all four. :)
so leaflets do work

hi daniel,
i would do but i havent a clue how to do it.
if you look back at my post on the 3rd of september theres a rough draft copy on there its basically the same as that with a few bullet points, postcard size on shiny card nothing special, it was meant as somthing just to get me started and i was planning to add some photos and more info to the next batch.
but it seems to be working.
had another 2 enquiries since posting.


out of interest anyone know how much i should be paying for these leaflets?
iv just paid £150 for 5000 double sided full colour.

I pay £199 for A4 single side, two colour.  Ring Trade Print for a price, they are the cheapest I have found although quality does suffer sometimes.

If you are doing mass mailings it's a cost vs quality issue but if you are mailing yourself then always go for a quality print.

hi red they dont allways,post back when u spend a whole week putting out leaflets and dont get a single call and tell us how u feel lol  and it will happen honest .

I pay £10 a thousand A4 Black and White Printed Both Side.

But I have use of an Old Copy Printer. (Not Photocopier) and print them myself.

takes about an hour to print 5000 .

Have recently aquired A Red Drum so0 can now do two Colour.

Does anyone know where you can get Coloured Paper at resonable Cost,

Does it make that much diffrence to results.

Biggest problem is distribution


I talked do an estate agent during the week, they employ someone and expect about 130 an hour to be delivered.



Which works out at about £50 a thousand

My local printer has just entered into a national franchise to print digitals. He used to cost £500 for 20K. I just ordered 50k for £600, cant complain as they are good quality too. 3 day turnaround from proofing ;D
