Hi all,
I've been getting some useful advice on here lately so thank you.
I'm interested in the above but does anyone know how light this pole really is??
I'm getting a lot of town houses and I'm currently using a Brodex prolong gold (30 ft) which I find is a bit of a strain on my back, it's like having a workout.

clx is light and i will say a very good pole too,im well impressed.

That's great to know. I know it has the weight on the Gardiners website but I've found that most claim their poles to be lightweight but you never really know unless you either see/try first or just buy it and they arn't cheap.

I have the CLX27 and I'm very impressed with it.
Its light,.. much more rigid than previous poles I've used (a small bit of whip at full extension, but nothing bad at all) and it seems very hard-wearing so far, eg it doesn't scuff/mark easily when dragged off the edge of gutters etc!
I've only had mine a week,.. but my dad got one a while back & he's still equally delighted with it.

do you feel any strain on your back mate?
The pole I currently have, it's just a struggle, extending it etc and then lugging it up to the highest window of a town house. I'm no weaklin that's for sure. ;D

Even fully extended its easy to use,.. no strain at all so far. :)

Great stuff, just what I'm wanting to hear. I'll be putting my order in tomorrow for sure. It's good to get some feedback before spending your hard earned money that's for sure. ;D

You should get it around christmas then, ordered mine begining of june and was supposed to be here mid - end july, STILL WAITING >:(

I was told if I placed the order today I could expect it by the end of August :o

Well I'm certainly going to mention it, I don't want to be waiting until Chrsitmas that's for sure, I will expect a discount if that happens. I'll keep the email I think.
Maybe Gardiners admin will view this post tomorrow. ;D

We have been trying to contact you via email (3 of which have been sent) for the last week and a half in an attempt to authorize the payment on this pole as we were not given a telephone number with your reservation. It is a great pity that you have not phoned the sales desk as your pole is ready and has been for over a week and naturally we are as anxious to get it to you as you are to have it.
Please accept my apologies that communication has somehow broken down - on the assumption that perhaps our emails aren't getting through I felt that a response on the forum would definitely reach you.
Please either give us a quick call or a brief email to authorize payment and we will have the pole with you by next day delivery.

Thanks for the reply, its strange that you don't have my phone number as you phoned me when my slx was ready, but that was quite a few months ago and must have been lost some how.
I don't regulary use that e mail address anymore so my apologies for not getting your emails, but I was informed when I first called to reserve the pole that the payment was to come off my card about 2 weeks before it was ready and would be dispatched automatically, but that obviously wasn't the case although I did speak to one of your colleauges on the morning of the 30th July when I called to check the status of the order and confirmed again that I wanted the pole. ???
I have sent you my contact details along with authorisation to take payment from me for the pole.

I called them this morning and placed an order. I have to say, very good service, I asked a lot of questions about the pole and the lady was very helpful and patient ;D

As before I can only apologize sincerely that communication has broken down in this way - unfortunately your telephone conversation confirming your order was not listed in the order journal (normally we keep a log of all phone calls from customers) and as we try never to take payment on an unconfirmed order we delayed in order to confirm - sadly on this occasion we would have done better to have assumed you wanted it and sent out the pole! However I can assure you the pole will be going out to you ASAP and I hope you enjoy working with it.

I've had mine for a while now and it's an awesome pole. It replaced my X-Tel which was a heavy beast w/ more flex than a buggy whip. ;D
