I don't bother anymore... Sick of them getting it wrong. Our closest weather station is 20 miles away.

I just take each day as it comes in the morning

the weather has been crappy and unpredictable for weeks now! ::)

what i find best is try and make sure ive filled van up the night before and im ready for the next morning.then even if its raining get up and get out and be on plot for 9am.a lot of the time the weather can change dramatically in just half an hour or so.and even if its raining, work as usual and usually it clears up after a bit and you build momentum up!if it carries on raining i carry on for a few hours until im soaked and fed up then go home!!

i have had days where the forecast is really bad and ive not gone out and its not been heavy rain or anything substantial!i always have a look at the local weather on tv before i go out though!! ;) ;D ;D ;D.

sometimes its hard to get out the front door if its chucking it down first thing!!

also ive had days where its forecast bad and ive worked all day with no rain whatsoever!its all a bit hit and miss and just get on with it normally unless im very tired and feeling lazy!!

Weird...the Dutch seem to get it bang on most days and rarely is it totally wrong...why would that be?....I'm sure they use the same type of computer modelling, historic data....it's not that were too far from the UK is it?

Dave.

Great forecasts, easy to use and set to your own location and the radar is invaluable on my phone.

I reckon that radar alone has saved me many hundreds of pounds, before I had that we would often call it a day if it started to rain heavy thinking it was “in for the day”.
I now look at the radar on my phone and can work out where it’s coming from and how long it will last, then decide what to do. More often than not we are able to sit it out and get a few more hours work in.

I use Yahoo weather Widget.  It's very useful. Shows the actual weather of the day and 4 days ahead. You can download it from yahoo website.
