Post by: Craig - CW Window Cleaning on August 05, 2010, 05:51:30 pm
Hi I am starting up carpet cleaning to add on to my window cleaning business.
I would like some advise or suggestions on what bits and bobs I will need.

1/Firstly I am looking at getting a prochem steempro powermax, would getting the add on heater make a better clean?

2/And what pre vacuum cleaner is good to get?

3/Is a dryer or blower worth getting?

your help is much appreciated

thanks

Be the very best carpet cleaner you can be, do a good job and you will turn one customer into three, get some traning ( NCCA )and some practical experience from a guy "not too near" you, and dont forget you can have all the best equipment, training  etc but that wont make the phone ring.

Hi

if you expanding now would be the time to put your window cleaning prices up. this will sort out the round. and free up time.

you can end up with less work for the same or more money. this will help give you time to start your new business.

your in a great place. if you can set aside say a days window cleaning money just for marketing carpet cleaning you turbo charge your marketing and will shorten the time that you would take without this money set aside. so you be in that place you want quicker.

Good luck

Although the Prochem machines are really good. I would recomend perhaps looking at either an Airflex or a Scorpion.

All the best

Would increase your chances of a day out if you showed your location!
