got a phone call this morning they cancelled because they dont like all the water dripping down! ::)
its a listed building with old wooden georgian windows.i used to do them off ladders but i was never comfortable with the ladder work due to slippy paving slabs etc so ive had to let it go!
its only £20 monthly but i still dont like losing custies!
oh well ive picked up a few jobs lately that more than covers the loss!
onward and upward!

put ur safety first, guarantee she wil pick up some newbie who will do it and either jack it off or fall

What does she do when it rains ? ;D

i explained to him that pure water once a month wouldnt affect the window frames but he was adamant it would and would damage the frames over time so i just wishes him well in finding another window cleaner.he had no problem with the quality of the clean and said the windows came up great.they were fussy custys anyway.
theres just no pleasing some people! ::)

they have had some one come around and tell them the system is crap
-
customers like that think they are always right - annoying cuz your the wc not them, you wouldnt have invested money into something that would do that.
sometimes bad customers like that can give wc a bad name - they will now prob go thru 3 - 4 wc in the next year as more and more wc are changing over to wfp, so they will start moaning that they cant get a wc that doesnt stick around ....

IMO pure water does not do wooden frames any favours so I think the customer has a point. Not worth compromising your safety though, so better to just drop them.
