Title: 0800 numbers

Im going to get one..  Any reccomendations?

I dont want the one-off fee companies, as they seem to go bust as it is a bad business model. just a good, cheap company

I use http://www.numbergroup.com

The number I chosen was free 0800 05 888 59

There was no set up fee, there's no line rental fee.

All I pay is 13p per minute to have it diverted to my mobile.

I can understand an 0800 number being a cheap way of diverting calls to your mobile but I won't have one because it attracts penny pinchers and price shoppers.

Do you find many people call your 0800 number from call centres or not?

Join TPS and just tell them you are registered and by ENGLISH law they must remove you from their data list and must never ring you again or you will report them - it works

and registering with these will not stop any potential calls coming through? i.e.block with held numbers.

A with held number could be a legit enquiry Richie mate so as the website says, 'marketing calls'.

we own around 30 0800 numbers
we use global telecom and have done for the past 6-7years no complaints fairly cheap i think and we always divert them to mobile we did a large campaign with regional numbers with a company called ad track complete waste of time and was ridiculously expensive.
all our business comes from 0800 numbers and 0300 numbers

If I understood right, It's a Voip service, isn't it? If I'm not wrong I can share a company that I use for international phone calls and my bill is not growing up in the end of the month. The company site is http://www.briing.com
I didn't try other companies, so if you have good or bad opinion for someone else, please share with me.
