Just beware of the £5k courses or whatever they cost. Rip Off!
The main part of oven cleaning (IMO of course!) is the successful dismantle and reasemble of all the oven parts. If you weren't good at lego or meccano, no one's gonna teach you in one week how to split doors, take a fan off (the nut requires a clockwise removal, ok, so you know that little secret now ;D)... No course can really teach you every oven type because there's so many different types and taking the door completely off is such a help for access....! So if you are NOT confident at the simplest of DIY.... Give oven cleaning a miss....
Otherwise... Well done, you've passed ;) Cleaning chems and tools are cheap as chips apart from a dip tank and the methods are so simple. It takes a little bit of patience and elbow grease but as somene said on CIU recently, at least you can guarantee the expected result.... and more!
For £500 I'll come to your town and train you over 2 days the easy bits... (Joking of course ;))
