Title: Fitting tank in astra van
Post by: jonboywalton75 on August 04, 2010, 07:29:27 pm
I'll be fitting a  tank in an astra van (new shape 2010) soon and wondered if anyone has had a problem with the position of the fuel tank when you've come to fit  brackets/angle iron with ubolts around the chassis.
Cheers for any help.

I have an astra van and a 350 l flat tank , its pushed right up to the bulkhead and strapped down , I honestly dont think bolting it to chasis would make a big difference because you can only strap it side to side not front to back .

Just wondered how you have it anchored?
And what is the reason that you can't strap it front to back?
I was also thinking of a 350 ltr tank, does this leave enough room to store a  hose reel and poles etc.?
