I need to make a new pole that goes up to 40 foot, preferably from a fishing pole.

Has any one got any makes of pole that can easily converted.

or the best reasonably priced tailor made 40 foot pole

Ive got an old brodex yellow glass fibre one but after using it all day fri my arms and shoulders were killing me...

Many thanks

Marcus

MAP F16 it was £249 when I bought it from Cheshire fishing and it's about 45ft.
I've had mine a couple of years but it doesn't get used every day.

compared to a glass fibre or aluminium excellent. the map f16 is highly recommended but i have not used one, the one I use I am not prepared to recommend yet as i have only been using it for two months so only time will tell

I needed to go 40-45 ft a year ago and tried the diy fishing pole way. It didnt work the pole snapped and left me out of pocket.
In the end I went to gardeners and bought the max pole for £699. I know it sounds a lot but I have never looked back. I use this pole on all jobs even ground.
If the price is a problem which it was for me then get an interest free credit card that runs for 12-13 months and save the money up durring that time, then pay it off. This is what I have done and will be paying it all off this month. I'm not worried as the moneys there.
