Title: prochem training courses
Post by: Park Cleaning Services on September 08, 2005, 08:18:26 pm
hi guys, have considered doing a one day training course with prochem, just wondered if any of you has any feed back you can give me with relation to this, as to whether or not the course would be of any value to me, and is it worth the money?

thanks guys

Ian

I have to agree with the above I sent one of our guys on the 2 day course he had never cleaned a carpet before. He is now flying along and we are getting excellent feedback on his work from our clients.

yep, do the 2 day course and you be a professional carpet cleaner ::) I've done lots of carpet cleaning courses and I can't remember getting a wand on a carpet on any of them.

all they do is theory (which now I feel can be done on the internet with enough searching) can you imagine a plumber, Joiner,glazer... etc..etc just sitting in a classroom to learn thier trade.

Ian I don't know how long you've been in business but try working with another carpet cleaner you'll learn a lot more

Mike

I'm not saying that is ALL you need to do!!

Of course he was sent out with one of our more experienced guys to receive further training and mentoring but I still feel it was an invaluable basis for him to start from.
So yes working with another carpet cleaner would be good

Hi Mike

I understand and at times I feel the same way .

There is no sustitute for experience!
What I have found is that different people react differenly to "classroom situations"
It works for some and not for others
