Hi Guys,
I like many others usually have a good old moan about our bill payers due to various things they do or say :-X (usually them wanted the world for peanuts etc etc) Well I had a very different experience this week with a lovely spanish couple. Being totally honest when I got a call from the lady wanting a full house clean on the same day (friday) I thought here we go again and wasn't feeling to positive. Well I agreed to go and look at the job on the monday with a view to doing it then which is what ended up happening. Half way through Mrs Abelleira insisted I stopped and joined them for dinner which is something I had never done before but as they were so friendly I felt obliged plus it smelt so good! So I sat with them and was even offered wine. The meal was called Fabada which is a traditional bean dish and in fact it was that good I took the reciepe and am cooking it today! My point being is that sometimes we always seem to judge a book by it's cover by past experiences so I thought credit where it's due they deserved a mention ;D

I cleaned for someone this morning,i had told him when i quoted that a lot of the stains would not come out,however when i cleaned they all came out !! Surprised myself,he was taking pics of the results !! Made me a coffee with Bailey`s in,was a bit of a shock at 9 in the morning,if i am honest.
But like you say,don`t judge a book by the cover,this person grabbed me in the street ,whiile i was doing another job,and he was a hard sell,so many questions,after i had done he told me he had tried everything on the stains,and a Rug doc,hope he tells his friends

I had the same thing with a lady magistrate some years ago. Soup, bread, biscuits and tea. It's not something you really expect when you turn up to do a job.

Rich Being spanish they also might be feeling rather pleased with themselves at the moment re a certtain World Cup Win.I know when Scotland win the World cup i will be very very nice to everybody.Regards Alan(swindon)

Joe yes i am well and hopefully your are too.Dont think if i live to 150 i will see the tartan army lift the world cup we had a great side in the 70s with Kenny Dalglish Graham Souness etc but now we have so little quality its embarrassing.Regards Alan

lady from west indies insisted i join her with a fish curry, trouble is they tend to serve with all the bones etc in the meal. i was gagging to say the least, never eat with customers now!!

I was offered fish pie once, but I think it would have been unprofessional to partake.
