Ok all i think i am going to go for a 400lt flat tank form pure freedom.
Will it last most of the day without refill i know it is hard to say but on average?
Also they have said the dimensions are as follows and wanted to know what i could fit it in. if anyone has small vans could you do me a massive favor and measure yours so i know what i can start looking at.
I am thinking caddy, kangoo, berlingo, combo, partner etc
The dimensions are
flat 400lt tank
Width (which would obviously go between the arches inside the van) 101cm
Length 125cm
Hight 36cm
I would be very greatful if any of you could measure your vans and let me know if it would fit i then would know what vans to look for and what not to bother with thanks again. :)

How about a 400l upright tank and a Ford Transit Connect T230 Long Wheel Base High Roof Van, My mate has one and its got enough space above the tank to fit a pole tube (24' pole collapsed of course) and still enough space on the floor between the tank and the back doors to store other stuff

Thats excactly what i've got but with a 450L tank, and i very seldom empty it during the day.

ye i do like the connect but i only have 2000 to spend on a van and most are more than that or are a stupid amount of miles away. :(

Ive got a 400L upright in my expert (which is also dispatch and scudo)
Ive never ran out of water and only ever filled it to about 350L

I will be looking for a transit low roof swb witha 500L so i can add more tanks if needed and theyre good value now for a 03 04 plate seen a few for around 2K better to get bigger than you need rather than realise its to small in 6 months, ive got an escort van at the mo and it is stuffed full!
-
ive never used more than 300L in a full day even on first cleans with flowcontroller on 60(pure freedom)
-
Really? sounds like most don't use more than 300-350L in a day then which is good for me as i can get a 350L tank in the smaller vans no problem according to pure freedom.

Just dont forget the weight i think its about 1KG per litre

you can get a 400 ltr upright in a combo sits right up behind the driver and the wheel arches.
poles rest on the top of he tank and slot into the bubble canopy above the driver.
gives loads of space for everything else.
most days use 350 ltrs but do use more, so have to pop back for a refill.
don't go smaller than 400 as you will soon outgrow its capacity.

Hi
Go for upright. The flat tank has a much bigger 'footprint' and you may find you are sucking air even although the tank is 25% full as you have parked the wrong way on a gradient and the remaining water has gravitated away from the outlet.
