back on topic, its early yet, what i was looking for in the poll was training classes or suppliers offering trainng when they buy the equipment, seems like after all these years its not happening, only one i know was freedom trolleys, but dont know if they still do 1 day training when you buy from them

Thing is joe what if suppliers did offer training it does not mean they are training lads correctly, every one seems to have their own view on how to do it. some more  efficient than others.

think brodex throw in a bit of training according to my mate who was constantly on the phone asking how to do things after the training he received

stu, am sure who ever was running wfp classes should know what they are doing, should know,  the problem i think, is some w/c dont like to ask other w/c in their area, maybe competition or something, who knows, for the experienced wfp guys, if they make a mess they can possibly get  their work, but at the same time give wfp a bad name,

Bought our first wfp system off a guy who had split up from his wife and was moving out the area.  Lessons, taught myself and watched others, viewed clips on youtube and manufacturers sites.

It's not rocket science, but you do need to make sure your technique is good otherwise you will make a worse mess than was there when you first started!

I remember when we first used our 60ft pole, that was a VERY steep learning curve!!

same here, didn't work for 2days after. was a beast though. didn't get any rest from the 45ft extel fibre glass either. i was moving but the brush wasn't   ::)

learning the ropes i watched peter fogwills youtubes and groundhogs vid for speed.
then just did it and lernt as i went on, info from forums helped loads.

asked lots of questions on here and in 6 weeks i feel im getting the hang of wfp now!!

ive got the best of both worlds as im very competent with trad and trad pole work as well.

as for poling 60ft up i wont be doing that!

35 ft is as long as my biggest pole will stretch!(4 floors!)

in time ill get quicker and hone my technique and choice of equipment to make the job as quick, efficient and easy as possible!! ;) :) :)
