Title: at last ive upgraded
Post by: gr cleaning solutions on July 27, 2010, 01:33:55 pm
At last ive upgraded my carpet cleaning machine its taken me a year to do it. For the past year ive used a puzzi 100 and with only one call back over this time and i must say this machine has never let me down
But over the last month im getting more and more carpets booked into clean including two full house to do in the next few weeks i decided  to was time to upgrade a push the carpet side off the business .
And thanks to David Rogers on here i bought his extracta cx from him at a good price (thanks David really helped me there) also had a  good chat and he's top lad .
Doing one off the full house on Friday and im really looking forward to using the machine a putting the puzzi to the back off the garage  ;D

It was a pleasure chatting with you Gav.  I know you're going to do well because you've got the right attitude towards your work it was clear talking with you yesterday.

The CX is a brilliant machine and at this point in time, I'm wishing I'd given you the Craftex machine instead for the same money!!   I'm missing my orange buddy already. One thing I forgot to remind you yesterday is that the CX's heater is an immersion type, so never switch the heater on when there's no water in the fresh tank!

Cheers
Dave

Not knocking anyone here but its funny that you 've upgraded to the machine I started off with 20 yrs ago and since then I've upgraded 4 times . Having said that you could say my business was nitially built on the CX and customers must have been happy.

Well I'm going to say it ......... what a pointless comment that offers little other than trying to make someone feel a bit crap.     Is it essential to crush someone's enthusiasm by alluding that their upgrade was your machine 20 years ago?

I'd rather have a hardworking enthusiastic cc with a CX doing my carpet than a lazy or complacent TM user... (not that I'm suggesting you're either).

Sorry Mike but I think this was a classic think before you type moment.  All I'll say.

David,

I agree, the comments are worthless and uncalled for, it seems to me the extracta machines do get a bit of stick off some. But they are very reliable, they work, they clean carpets and they are also very easy to fill, they are also supplied and backed up by a very successful, established and helpful company. I bought a new excel about six months ago off Brian and I do not regret it in any way, I had a wide choice of machines, altec, airflex, ninja etc etc... but my decision was made on extracta's financial standing, security and history. They do what they say on the tin, and the company will and should be trading for many many years to come.

Imo, if it aint broke dont fix it ;) but maybe a 3 vac machine is in the pipeline at extracta, who knows?

regards,

Paul

Chill out guys !! Talk about over reacting . As I said my business was built on one of those and my customers obviously were happy to still be with me all these years down the line.

I used the extract cx yesterday for the first time in a five bedroom house, all the bedrooms ,landing and stairs, dining and living room carpets were to be  cleaned.
I was very very pleased with the machine its made my work a hell off a lot easier compared to when i used my puzzi.Having a built in heater and big tanks made a very big difference no having to stop ever 15mins to empty or re fill .
On a down side i did have to take the cx upstairs to do three bedrooms but did mange to leave it down stairs to the other two which in the future is going to make things better so im going to on the look out for some extra hoses.
Myself and the customer are over the moon with the end results and have booked me in for may next year to do them all again. Just wish i had listened to you guys earlier and bought some thing like this first .
