Browns ladders in Burnley have a notice board where rounds in up to a 30 mile radius get posted

For what you would pay for a round you could use the money to advertise and leaflet drop and canvass .
Much better when you start with your own customers and prices .

By the time you find one , ..check it out and buy it.... it could take a month or two....

in that time, if you knocked on doors every night and get ten customers per night,  (can be done).... in one month you will have 200 clients...weekdays.

you then have a round without the hassle of buying and losing some.

sounds the right thing to do gazza without foking out 5 times or so up front...but will i not just have scattered rounds also upsetting other windy's in the process cause if i go out i need to do areas where no doubt others r on  ???

No, its the best way to do it, you will be suprised how many people dont have window cleaners.

We are building again just now, and we do two hours per night...two of us, and get ten each time we go out.

without weekends !

Also they come in blocks , so it will only be as scattered as you want it to be.

and when you clean them , more will come your way.

Snowball affect, once its rolling, it will simply get bigger   ;)

yes you will upset some but so what you are in business its about time they got used to it. If the other w/c do a good job at a fair price they will not lose many

tested the water last week but found few estates all long time windy did them, then did one a little away & totally different response the windy there breaks tills etc 1 new custy told me he & his wife watched the windy bang the ladder on back of hse to look like he'd gone up, so never say no body watching!!!!

but i think its going to be hard work trial & error  :-\ but will keep you all posted how it goes (may help others who are going to fork out £k for rounds r i may say @ the end of this experience dont do it buy!! starting out to canvass this fri will update for nxt 2 wks  ;))

Not really the best info to post on a public forum used by potential sellers. The price of any work may have just gone up. But good luck anyway.
