They give you about 40 mins, dont they?
Within 10 minutes i had done answered all my questions and checked them all again!

like when i got done with a speed camra and went on a drivers awernes course if you passed you dont get the points,its that easy if youy fail you should lose your lisence

it is in my case I have never used it and I have quoted two builders cleans since getting it, but a few months prior to getting it I couldn't get on site to quote without one so it may come in handy at some point

you were very lucky to go on the "bad boy course" ,i was told i was going to slow to be allowed on to it . 34 in a 30m.p.h. limit so i had to take the points and fine ::)

just the operator card i think just to get on site

Is the card significant - that depends on where you want your work to come from. Most on here don't worry or need a CSCS card because they will never work on a construction site.
If you work on construction you should be asked for it every time you go onto a new site. On the works I do it is photocopied with my IPAF license and if I don't have it I don't get on site.
I have been on about 5 construction sites in the last two weeks, York, Colne, Balham and Basingstoke and another one I can't remember right now. Every time I was asked for the card.
