i got a dispatch that does about 25 mile to £5,  but you got to take in consideration the weight we carry, as a lot of the mpg are on empty vans, and a gallon that cost about £2 abroad

The l200 i had did 40 miles to a tenner knocking about the village and 50-55 on a motorway run. Got rid of it 2 months ago for a little 206 van 1.4 diesel it does 90 miles to a tenner knocking about which is great but its not as fun to drive as l200.

My '56 Doblo 1.3 diesel multijet hardly varies from 42 mpg according to its own computer. If I reset the computer it for an occasional non window cleaning run then it gets 50mpg.

I carry 425 litres of water.

£125 road tax too!

Yea i had 2 good years with it, had a lot of fun in the snow this year! Sold my caravan as we werent using it, sold my wfp setup as i couldnt get on with it and my son is of to uni in sep so he has sold his car and we car share. He was paying £1800 insurance on his clio, on the van its £700 for both of us and he doesnt have to tax ,service or mot it. He uses it in evenings and weekends and i have it in day. Saves him a fortune.
