Title: Cheap hotels near to or in east london
Post by: Dean Taberner on July 24, 2010, 06:57:36 pm
Hi guys,

We are working in east london soon and im on the look out for a cheap hotel,

Im thinking looking at one called the formule 1 hotel in barking, its £34 for the night for 3 of us. I certainly wont get any cheaper than that but the reviews dont look too good.

Has anyone got any experiences or advice?

Thanks in advance,

Dean

Hi,

Come on Dean I was relying on you to find us something nice!

The problem with the premier inn is that you only get the £29 a night deal at certain hotels and you have to book at least 14 or 21 days ahead I think.

Cheers,

Huw.

Lol,

the other prob with prem inn is you can only have 2 adults in a room and there are 3 of us.

Weve stayed in ilford when weve been before but fancy a change.

Dean

Travelodge in Sheffield let three of us stay in a "family" room. Wasn't great after a night in the pub.

Cheers,

Huw.

in a review it mentions bed bugs at the formule 1.  be sure to wipe your whole body with mosquito repellant  before climbing into the bed

I'm down in Balham SW London tomorrow afternoon.

If you and the lads and Huw get caught out with the accomodation I could squeeze one across the front seats of the van, one next to the water tank (in the back), one next to me in the bed ( you've gotta be wearing pyjamas for that one though and a couple more in the trailer!!!!!.

All good mates eh!!!!! ;D

Rob ;D

No Huw

Nothing as of yet.

Massively busy this next few weeks, Balham for a couple of weeks, Biggleswade and I think Basingstoke stores, plus anything else that comes in!!!

A busy man always makes time for a bit more work. Let me know!!!

Rob ;D

mmm Tower Hamlets is grim, Docklands not too bad.
Due to the amount of traffic round that way you are probably better off staying around dockands in a Travelodge or something. Not too far from the A13 and A102.
Keep your van locked  :P
