Title: Holidays
Post by: Dave Anderson on July 23, 2010, 09:22:58 pm
How many days holiday do you take per year?

Just worked out mine for 2011 and it's 10 working weeks and other days that I just do not have work for yet.

What do you plan for 2011 ...?

I normally take one weeks holiday abroad and one week holiday at center parcs. Plus any days in the summer when its really hot or in the winter when its really cold. ;)

Like most hands on self employed people, I tend to not take enough holiday time - and I sometimes suffer for it with lethargy, stress, and general physical aches.
I'm off for a week soon.  Nothing fancy.  Just a jaunt about 150 miles across to Somerset.  I'm greatly looking forward to it.  It will be good to chill out for a week.  I've earned it.  I never switch off totally though.  Always have my landline on divert to my mobile in case any new enquiries come in.
