Title: Derek Bolton
Post by: justin brown on July 22, 2010, 07:04:43 pm
I went on a carpet course taught by Derek Bolton today and must say i was really impressed with him, a top bloke with lots of knowledge. Paul Pearce is similar, another really nice bloke with mountains of knowledge. Any newbies looking for 'guru's' these two would top my list

hi mike. it was a freebie i got when i purchased an airflex at cleansmart, i am new to this, only been doing it 7 months but i remember my first course at Alltec last year.........it terrified me. it was the same for the other completely newbies today, however after having done a little already it made much more sense second time around!!

So you did'nt buy from Alltec, choosing an Airflex instead Justin. Interesting.
Yes Paul Pearse and the two Boltons, John and Derek are the people that we admire in this industry. Ken Wainwright too although I have never met Ken .

to be honest, getting prices and info from Altec was challenging to say the least. Heard a few cleaners who have the airflex giving it great reviews, and also when i met Matt at Cleansmart that swung it. Nothing was to much trouble, and the machine is performing brilliantly

I did the Upholstery course with Derek today, great stuff and certainly came away feeling confident to start cleaning upholstery.

Justin which Airflex did you buy, i got the Pro 130psi, not the most powerful i know but still a good machine to start with and higher spec than similar priced machines.

hi richard, i did the carpet course yesterday but unfortunatley missed the upholstery today. i got the airflex 600psi turbo, but yes i agree the 130 psi is a good starting point. I started off with the grace at 130psi but soon upgraded and the difference is most notable. But as i said, the 130 psi will do a great job
